Addressing The Growing Demand for Interactive, Internet Mindfulness Programs, eMindful Expands Leadership Team With Top Digital Marketing Executive

Modeling the Success of Its Corporate Programs, Zev Suissa To Lead Subscription Based Mindfulness Offerings for Consumer Market

eMindful, the provider of mindfulness-based corporate wellness programs, continues the expansion of its executive team with the addition of veteran digital marketing expert Zev Suissa as chief digital officer.

In his new role, Suissa is leading the company’s consumer product, subscription strategy and user interface across the business and consumer portals. He also is leading business development with distribution partners and building the company’s online community. His hiring was a result of recent funding from Bridge Builders Collaborative which provided capital to support the company’s growth strategy and expand sales and marketing.

Creating a consumer platform is a natural extension of the company’s successful corporate programs with customers such as Aetna, the State of Arizona, and NextEra Energy. Suissa has experience innovating with both startup and large companies. In 2003 he built an awarding winning Over the Top Technology channel with distribution across the web, early Internet Protocol Television and global mobile carriers. He has created and produced hundreds of hours of original content and is experienced in all aspects of video production. He has architected and managed social engagement campaigns for major brands, talent and publishers.

“The epicenter of commerce and marketing is moving to digital across all industries,” Suissa said. “eMindful has an unrivaled competitive advantage as an evidence-based mindfulness content company, and dedicating my expertise to the mission of using content to improve health and wellness is a rewarding opportunity of a lifetime.”

Across his digital and social campaigns he has led efforts for Nike, United Airlines, MSN.com, Paramount Pictures, Sports Illustrated Mobile and others. He earned his B.A. in Psychology at the University of Delaware and is an Executive M.B.A. candidate at the USC Marshall School of Business.

eMindful continues to receive industry and scientific praise for its programs that offer an effective way to reduce stress, smoking, overeating, chemical dependency, chronic pain and behaviors that contribute to chronic illnesses for millions of Americans. The addition of a consumer platform being developed under Suissa’s leadership will provide corporate customers and their employees with the continuity of programming they desire. Through its post-course feedback eMindful has seen that individuals want ongoing mindfulness practice and training in an online community once they complete a course.
