Guided Daily Mindfulness Practice
The Guided Daily Mindfulness Practice provides access to eMindful’s expert instructors and support for practicing mindfulness. Many find a group setting is useful in facilitating a daily practice.
During this 30-minute period, participants will be guided in anchoring their awareness to the breath.
Why Guided Mindfulness Practice?
Mindfulness practice has two basic components: learning to be fully present in the current moment and accepting thoughts and sensations for just what they are: an ever changing kaleidoscope and a natural part of life.
Practicing mindfulness has been demonstrated to have many benefits:
- Reduced stress levels
- Increased immune functioning
- Improved ability to stay focused
- Enhanced academic performance
to name just a few. But the main reason for practicing mindfulness is to improve the quality, the richness, of our life experiences. It allows us to be more patient with ourselves and more patient with others. Mindfulness can change your perspective and improve your health and wellbeing.
