Meditations for Living in Balance Course Information

Have you ever wondered how to live in greater balance – even amidst the myriad of complexities and challenges of your daily life? Do you yearn for greater inner peace and harmony? Are you interested in developing a powerful personal practice of meditation in order to bring a deeper wisdom, wonder, creativity, and compassion alive in your life-work-and-relationships? Guided by internationally respected meditation teachers and authors, Michelle & Joel Levey, this course invites you to experience a wealth of profoundly practical wisdom, skills, and inspiration for deepening in these ways.

Each session will include:

  • Teachings regarding principles and practices of meditation for living with greater harmony, balance, and health in these complex and turbulent times.
  • Guided meditation practice and instruction.
  • Time for Q&A.
  • Opportunities to share your learnings and reflections on integrating these methods into your daily life.

The Leveys have taught mindfulness and other meditation techniques as integral methods in their work as directors of clinical programs for Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound and Children’s Medical Center, and serve as clinical faculty of the University of Minnesota Medical School at the Center for Spirituality and Health, and as faculty for the Institute for Religion and Health at University of Texas Medical Center where they teach extensively on Meditation and Medicine. They also serve as graduate faculty for Mahidol University’s Contemplative Education and Transformational Learning program (Thailand), and Indian Institute of Management’s Behavioral Science MBA Program (Ahmedabad, India).
