What is the Giving the Gift of Presence Course?
This workshop is for both healthcare professionals and the general public to gather an intensive introduction to mindfulness and its applicability to living in and enjoying the present moment. A brief history of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program will be provided followed by an extensive set of experiential mindfulness exercises to provide you with tools you can use during the holiday season – and in your life in general.
This is an excellent way to truly enjoy the holiday season and to prepare for the New Year.
Discussion and exercises during this workshop will be intertwined with a focus on the stressors one may be experiencing during the holiday season. Skills learned will enable participants to mindfully manage and reduce these added stressors before they become problematic.
